Mat Pilates is a slower-paced, intentional movement class that explores the six principles of STOTT Pilates. You’ll improve your body’s alignment and postural awareness through controlled breath work and anatomical references. Students will learn how the body works as a system through holistic cueing and exercise progression. Often bodyweight only, this class is a reminder that mental connections are often more important than the physical.

Pilates fusion

same but different

Pilates Fusion extracts the technicality of traditional Mat Pilates while still staying true to the principles. The tempo is faster, the movement patterns are more dynamic, the energy is higher. You can expect the same emphasis on breath, with increased mobility and muscular endurance. We’ll incorporate more standing elements and utilize props such as the Pilates ball, light weights and resistance bands. You’ll leave class feeling energized within your body.
